Santa Barbara 

The Eastern Ring Parishes Project was an initiative by the Diocese of Austin that collaboratively expanded the worship facilities of three parishes located on the eastern periphery of Austin. For the Santa Barbara Church, the goal of the project was to provide a 10,000 SF sanctuary and a parking lot accommodating 200 vehicles. 

Santa Barbara’s distinguishing characteristic is a parapet structure on the front elevation. Tasked with preserving natural scenery of the existing pecan tree orchard, our team succeeded in creating bioswales around each tree as an added layer of ecological preservation. CasaBella Architects’ involvement spanned the entirety of the project, with our firm overseeing a streamline construction and conducting numerous site visits throughout the phase evaluating progress and inspecting work quality at all critical stages.
